Ancestry have Australian birth, marriage and death indices free to access this weekend. I’ve already been on and extracted the Micklethwait(e)s I can find. Interestingly there are four I can’t place in any of my branches:
Norah Micklethwaite d. 1918 Goulburn NSW – I have some Micklethwaites in Goulburn but can’t see where Norah fits in.
Martha Micklethwaite married James William Collins 1895 Queensland
Alice Ann Micklethwaite nee Cooper d. 1897 Queensland – a branch of Micklethwaits lived in Queensland but I have no information on Martha or Alice Ann.
Constance Mary Micklethwaite b. 1856 St Kilda Victoria, parents Edward and Margaret – I do have data on some Micklethwait residents of St Kilda some 75 years later but Constance appears to be unrelated to them.
As ever, I’d love to know more about these folks.
